Q: Could you introduce yourself briefly?

ShiRen Lu：My name is ShiRen Lu, and I am 14 years old. I have 3 family members, my mom, my dad and my brother. I was born in Calgary Alberta. My hobbies are playing games and reading novels.

Q: Which school are you in right now?

ShiRen Lu：In the 2019-2020 school year I will be going to Sir Winston Churchill High school.

Q: Is this your first time studying in a summer school？Why do you choose our summer school?

ShiRen Lu：I have been to summer classes and summer camps before. I came here because I wanna learn things like calligraphy or art, as well as Chinese.

Q: We are very curious that as a high school student, why do you still come to study even though you don’t have the needs of transferring credits like most of our college students?

ShiRen Lu：My mom originally thought that it was more high school oriented instead of university, and so we decided to check it out and learn some new things.

Q: What's your impression towards our summer school?

ShiRen Lu：So far I think it is pretty good.  I am very grateful to professors and TA for their helps. I often ask questions with professors that I don't understand, which is very useful for expanding my thinking.

Q: What courses do you study in summer school?

ShiRen Lu：I study Introduction to Psychology and Public Speaking. I chose these courses cause I thought they would be interesting to learn about.

Q: Would you mind telling me what are the differences between studying in summer school and in your home school?

ShiRen Lu：I guess I feel like there is a bit more homework in summer school, but since I haven't started high school yet there isn't anything to compare it to.
