The concept of International Summer Schools originates in American universities. It is aimed at utilizing high-quality teaching resources of universities which tend to be idle during summer vacations, to enrich students’ summer experience. By attending summer schools, students can experience world-class education as well as various learning and academic environment shaped in different universities.

SJTU LEC International Summer School is operated by the Lifelong  Education College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and mainly designed for SJTU students and international students. The International Summer School has successfully been run for six years since 2017, which offered students a precious chance to gear to the world top university education. With the development of projects and the accumulation of experiences, SJTU LEC International Summer School has become an influential international summer school in Shanghai.

SJTU LEC International Summer School will open in summer and winter every year. All the courses are designed to teach in-person and virtual format with a small class size. Located in the Changning Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, our courses cover the field of Economics, Business, Social Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences etc. Students are allowed to take 1-3 courses in each session.

In each winter and summer, Shanghai Jiao Tong University would like to warmly welcome professors and students from all over the world to join the summer school, to meet and know each other and to create wonderful and unique memories at SJTU.
